Royal Society publishes report on Resilience to Extreme Weather
The Royal Society has recently published its latest major report on "Resilience to Extreme Weather". The report explores the risks posed to people by extreme weather events, and evaluates a range of options for building people's resilience to them. It is designed to help inform important decisions about adaptation and risk reduction that are being made at global, national and local levels, especially international frameworks for disaster risk reduction, sustainable development and climate change next year.
