The IAP Young Scientists programme was initiated in 2008 with IAP's participation in the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting of the New Champions, also known as "Summer Davos", and takes place in September each year in China.

Since its inception in 2008, the World Economic Forum’s Young Scientists Community, in collaboration with IAP, selects the best scientific minds who will spur innovation and play a transformational role in integrating scientific knowledge and technological innovation to improve the state of the world. The Forum is currently seeking nominations from IAP Member Academies for the Young Scientists Class of 2013. Contact the IAP Secretariat for more information. Deadline 24 May 2013.
