Federation of Asian Scientific Academies and Societies (FASAS)
FASAS was established in 1984 and has a current membership of 16 academies. Its primary objectives are to promote greater awareness of the roles of science and technology in nation building among the general public, business, policy and decision makers; enhance the contribution and impact of academies and societies in national and regional development; collect, collate and disseminate scientific information relevant to the objectives of FASAS.
