Abstract
Mathematics is a living science. Solutions of old Problems, unexpected discoveries, new trend. Examples. Is the past present in mathematics ? Yes and no, this will be discussed. Is mathematics a science of the future ? Likely yes. Relations to the sciences will be mentioned, also the not obvious role of mathematics in the world and between the genders.
