The Academy is divided into six departments: social sciences; medicine sciences; technical sciences; natural sciences and mathematics; literature; arts. ANUBiH has 54 elected members. The departments are authorized to assemble formal work groups to study and evaluate various aspects of scientific and artistic activities. ANUBiH publishes several periodical editions.
