Throughout its history, the Academy has adopted a wide range of activities reflecting its commitment to the promotion of learning and research in the arts, humanities and sciences. The RSC is dedicated to fostering the highest levels of learning and research in all areas of scholarship; making available broad and varied knowledge of its members to advise and consult on issues of social, cultural, economic and scientific importance to Canada; promoting Canadian scholarship and accomplishments internationally through active exchanges with other national academies.
