Throughout its history, the Academy has adopted a wide range of activities reflecting its commitment to the promotion of learning and research in the arts, humanities&nbsp;and sciences. The RSC is dedicated to fostering the highest levels of learning and research in all areas of scholarship; making available broad and varied knowledge of its members to advise and consult on issues of social, cultural, economic and scientific importance to Canada; promoting Canadian scholarship and accomplishments internationally through active exchanges with other national academies.
