Passing away of late Professor Emeritus Dato' Dr. Khairul Anuar bin Abdullah

Professor Dato' Dr. Khairul Anuar bin Abdullah, President of the Association of Academies and Societies of Sciences in Asia (AASSA), breathed his last on 16 Jan 2022 at 04:26 am (MYT).

Professor Khairul was a renowned scientist, devoted academician and courageous professional. The news came as a great shock to the Fellows of Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM) and AASSA.

AASSA wishes to remember the great services and contributions of late Professor Dato' Dr. Khairul Anuar bin Abdullah to the cause of science and technology, particularly for his dedicated contribution to the development and application of sciences in Asia.

The Association of Academies and Societies of Sciences in Asia (AASSA) offers its deepest condolence to the Academy of Sciences Malaysia, and above all to the wife and family members of Late Professor Khairul.
